The foundation of my artistic practice lies in viewing photographs not merely as visuals, but as objects — material surfaces that invite new narratives. Using techniques such as embroidery, collage, and alternative printing processes, I intervene in the image to transform its surface and deepen the stories it holds. Each photograph becomes a tactile space for reflection, emotion, and reimagining.
This handmade artist book examines the inner dialogue we hold with our bodies, confronting internalized judgment while inviting tenderness and self-acceptance.
Each of the three unique copies is crafted entirely by hand using the cyanotype process on handmade paper, combining photo negatives and natural elements in layered collage compositions.
This project explores the relationship between the human body and nature through original photographs, hand-embroidered to evoke reconnection.
Each piece is printed on fine art paper and stitched by hand, combining photography and embroidery in a single artwork.
This project explores memory, loss, and presence through self-portraiture and personal objects that belonged to the artist’s mother.
Each image is manually altered by piercing holes into printed photographs, then backlit and re-photographed to evoke her ephemeral presence.
All work is created by hand, without digital manipulation.
