A Personal Family Album Workshop Series

In a world where our photographs scatter across phones and clouds, it’s easy to lose sight of the stories that truly matter.

This series of workshops invites you to slow down, to gather your memories, and to craft them into a handmade family album — a living object that holds your roots, your milestones, your connections, and your hopes for the future.

It is not just an album. It is a ritual of belonging, a tactile story, a legacy you create with your own hands.

    Each session combines:

Reflection & writing prompts: to connect with the stories behind your images.

Creative exploration: collage, stitching, layering, and design with photographs and materials.

Community sharing: creating in the company of others who also honour memory and heritage.

By the end, you will hold in your hands a handmade, custom album — an intimate book that tells your story and anchors your roots.

  • Who It’s For:

    — Anyone who has family photographs sitting unseen in boxes, albums, or digital folders.

    — Parents and grandparents who wish to pass on their heritage to the next generation.

    — Expats and those living far from their roots, longing for ways to stay connected.

    — Creatives and seekers who value meaning, texture, and ritual in what they create.

First session: Roots & Beginnings

Every story begins somewhere. This first session is about tracing your roots, finding the images that speak of your beginnings — the faces, the places, the first chapters. We anchor the album with origins, planting the seed for the journey ahead.
